There are many advantages of buying a Japanese import

👍 Like for like, used Japanese vehicles are usually in a better condition than UK models with no or very little corrosion.

👍 Larger engine/performance vehicles usually have cheaper road tax than the same UK models (imports being based on pre 2001 tax rates for engine size rather than emissions)

👍 Japanese vehicles usually carry a higher spec than UK models.

Japanese imported European vehicles are quite popular at the minute.
Here we had another lovely low mileage Volkswagen golf r32 for UK prep.
✅Speedometer changed to MPH
✅Instruments programmed to display miles
✅UK compatible radio
✅Redundant JDM equipment removed.

We also had a nice little polo in for UK compatible radio (forgot the "after" pics 🤣 ) toll card reader removal and investigate a water leak.

Nice little golf R32 I'm for some "UK" prep for one of our trade customers.
MPH Speedo face with matching rev counter.
Cluster odometer coded to miles.
Heated seat fault diagnosed.
UK compatible radio fitted supplied by customer (not a brand/type we would usually entertain for a retail customer or on our imports but appears to work ok and didn't start smoking when plugged in 🤣)
