Congratulations to Luke who passed his driving test on his first attempt today in Irvine. Only 2 driving faults as well. 👏👏

The extra practice with his mum made a massive difference to Luke’s confidence. It was a pleasure teaching you Luke.

Massive congratulations to Devon Stevenson who passed his driving test today with only 1 driving fault. Some great feedback from the examiner especially when your driving fault was for fixing your parking and there was nothing wrong with it 😂.

Going to miss you Devon, we had some interesting conversations and lots of laughs.

Taking a long drive this February?

Remember – on wet roads, stopping distances will be at least double 🌊

When driving in wet conditions:

- maintain distance from the vehicle in front

- be aware that rain and spray may make you less visible

- pay attention to hazards like spilt diesel – this can make the road surface slippery

- take extra care around pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and horse riders

- remember your tyres may have less grip on the roads – if steering becomes unresponsive, ease off the accelerator and slow down gradually

Highway Code Rule 125 - The speed limit is the absolute maximum and does not mean it is safe to drive at that speed irrespective of conditions.

Driving at speeds too fast for the road and traffic conditions is dangerous.
