A wonderful gift from one of our customers, a reproduction of the original sales brochure brought to life as wall art! We were very grateful to receive such a gift following the completion of a restoration, aided by Austin Pedal Cars using our British-made parts.

The ex-miners that worked on the original J40s left their stamp on history... sometimes literally!

This is the handiwork of Dilwyn Pickett, an ex-miner, who worked in the upholstery section of the factory during the 1960s until the end of production. To illustrate his pride in his work, he signed the calico lining on the rear of the seats he made.

We recently uncovered a sample of his signature during a sympathetic restoration, pictured centrally in blue, alongside some other examples from our heritage collection.
