🚗🔧 This IVECO horsebox recently came in for an outer sill replacement, but after a closer look, we discovered it needed a whole new step and inner sills fabricated before we could fit the new outer sill. No problem here at Woodys Welding Services – we’re always up for a challenge! 💪

From a young age, I’ve had grease under my nails 😂 At 16, I dove into college, then jumped straight into general repairs, before specializing in building sprint & endurance race cars 🏎️💨. After years of experience, I transitioned to restoring classic cars and haven’t looked back! 🛠️🚘

- removed the battery tray and relocated the battery to behind the passenger seat
-twin45s
-kent cam
-wrapped exhaust
- rad fan
-remake the loom from cross flow to pinto adding wires for fan relays and facet fuel pump
-hydraulic clutch and bias pedal box with wilwood master cylinders

✅todays job was to lap the valves and reassemble the head using all new components
ready for the new piston and barrel tomorrow
✅sort all the bolts to be either blacked renewed or plated
✅get all the paint off the mating surfaces
✅remove all the sludge and debris from the sump

needs stripping right back and starting again as i found the thrust bearing in a box 😂
wish me luck also i’m glad i took the barrel off as the piston was damaged
a really fun project and will be stunning when finished 😊

✅wilwood bias pedal box and hydraulic clutch conversion
✅relocate the battery behind the seat
✅exhaust wrap
✅ribbed alternator v belt conversion
✅electric fan kit
✅tidy all the wiring in the engine bay
✅electronic ignition
these upgrades will help with reliability and power watch this space for updates 😊
