Porsche 991.1 in for some exhaust repairs. On a Previous service we noticed the poor condition of the exhaust manifold studs. Replacement was recommended and the owner reported the exhaust rattling between gear changes. He sourced a new exhaust system and we supplied new titanium hardware and gaskets. With some delicate persuasion we managed to remove all the remaining exhaust manifold bolts and dealt with the two bolts already snapped and seized. The original Exhaust system was blowing in a number of places due to cracks in the mufflers and the missing bolts. All back together and returned to the customer in a day.

Landrover Discovery sill repair at short notice. Without the replacement panels we made a quick repair panels as the side step mounts had rotted away. This fully welded repairs treated internally and externally. Not particularly pretty but it will stand the test of time.

Overdue post to update some works to get Ant’s S2000 back on the road. The rear of the car was reassembled after reconditioning of all the components. All four concerns benefited from new brakes, suspension bushes and replaced bolts and fittings. Car is now running after an overhaul of the fuel system and replacement and upgrade of the fuel pump and filter.

Recently had a 2006 Ford galaxy with us for some pre MOT work. Unfortunately turned in to another redo of work carried out previously else where. Two of the diesel injectors were leaking causing a build up of carbon and letting dangerous exhaust gases in to the cabin and fuel to spray around the engine. We stripped them out, cleaned up, recut the seats, replaced the stretch bolts, washers and importantly the clamps which had not been done on the previous repair. As these important parts had not been replaced previously. Two of the clamps had snapped and were the cause of the leak. After resolving this issue we carried out pre mot maintenance and it flew straight through.

Didn’t catch many pictures of this one as it’s been flat out recently. Panda 4x4 in for annual service and MOT.

Whilst with us we:
Serviced including - oil, oil filter, inspected spark plugs, air filter and pollen filter
Clean up and repaired and oil leak
Carried out pre MOT inspection
Removed and treated premature rust to the metal sump guard

We also notified the customer of weeping drive
shaft oil seals to be replaced at a future point.

After our prep the car sailed through its MOT with no advisories.
