(SOLD) Yamaha DT125R - 2000 - £4250

A very low mileage (4k kms) original DT125R.

We imported this from France back in 2018. It is UK registered and on a UK "X" reg. We have the full V5 logbook. It will come with 12 months MOT.

Very good condition and not restored. Original as we like to find them. Does everything as it should. What more can I say, the photo's speak for themselves :)

(SOLD) Kawasaki KMX125 - 2000 - £3395

This is a KMX125 we imported a few years ago from France.
It has just 5k kms on it and is all original. It is UK registered and we have the full V5 logbook and the bike will come with 12 months MOT.

It starts and runs very well. Just had new battery, fuel tap seals replaced, new air filter. So all ready to ride.

It is in great condition, couple of very small marks on the right hand tank panel (as pictured). The seat is a little off coloured as well, looks like the sun has got to it. Otherwise you will struggle to find such a nice original KMX.

(SOLD) Yamaha RD125LC Mark 1 - 1983 - £3250

This is my 1983 Yamaha RD125LC Mark 1. I have owned it since 2016 and never used it. Always planned to ride it, but just never got time.

It is a UK bike from new with matching frame and engine numbers (12A Prefix).

I bought it as a friend owned it for years and it was even used in a Classic Motorcycle Mechanics article back in the 1990's. So was a nice addition to my collection.

It will need recommissioning as been stood for so long. The front brake needs a rebuild. Not seized on, but not working either. The fuel cap was stuck, so had to break the lock to get it off. Otherwise was one key for all locks. Tank needs a clean out inside. I put it on a remote fuel tank and a couple of kicks it fired into life! Very surprising having stood for nearly 8 years.

Nice period mods with the seat cover and drop bars. Just as we all used to ride them.

Bike is in Romford, Essex. I have the full V5 logbook in my name.

Thought we would take this moment to let you know what we are up to here. Unit 5 Motos as a business is no more.

We have tried every way possible to be able to carry on importing the bikes we did from France, but all the red tape and costs involved since Brexit makes it not possible to do that. Phillippe retired and moved back to France in the summer as he could not operate his own business here in the UK either anymore.

However, that is not us disappearing 😊 As most of you will know Unit 5 Motos was only ever an addition to our original business. StinkWheels & Allspeed Exhausts is our main operation now days and this continues as it always has.

The additional space in our workshop means we have spent the past few months moving equipment about, installing a new Dyno and building ourselves a larger workshop.

We will keep the Unit 5 Motos page open and will continue to advertise bikes we have from the UK and hopefully any fresh imports we can obtain in the future. Not given up completely, we enjoy finding bikes too much.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a very happy 2024 to you all.

A very low mileage DTR which starts and runs as you would expect.

It is in very good condition, all original. Only fault I can find is a small dent/crease in the side of the fuel tank (last photo), but hard to see.

We imported this one a few years ago from France. It has since been sat in a collection and is UK registered. So comes with a UK logbook and 12 months MOT.

All starts and runs well. In great condition, not mint. But has new tyres, wheels clean, etc.

***SOLD*** Yamaha TDR125 Lightburner - 1991 - £1495

Spare or repair project. Runner.

We imported this back in 2016 from France and sold it to a customer. He did nothing with it and it has been sat in their shed ever since. So after 6 years of being stood it needs some attention.

The carb is knackered, never seen one so bad with old fuel in it. Put a pattern DT125 LC one on and it runs, but really wants the right carb or setting up.

Rest of the bike is not too bad. Seat cover is breaking up a bit and the screen has been lost, as they dropped it in the shed and took it off. No fuel cap key either for some reason.

Electrics all work and the engine sounds fine. It is low mileage, so worth saving.

Comes with the French logbook and paperwork needed to register. It is on the NOVA system.
