Freelander 2 recovered in stuck in reverse, diagnosed as gear linkages so half the dash apart just to get the room to get the old cables out and new in, a long with full service and haldex service and a drivers mirror all supplied and fitted⚙️

Mercedes Cls recovered in with auxiliary belt missing and failed tensioner, new tensioner and belt fitted and out the door💨

Audi a4 avant in for two front wheel bearings
Due to vibration and humming noise whilst driving⚙️

fiat 500 in for a mini service⚙️

Berlingo van recovered in with broken alternator/aircon bracket and a new auxiliary belt⚙️

Just some of the recent work carried out by ourselves at 🔧Spanner N Sponge🧽

Vauxhall corsa brought in with headgasket issues, replacement engine sourced and fitted along with a fresh full valet, this was due to be a birthday present car came to me on Thursday and engine was sourced Same day engine fitted on Friday ready for the birthday on the Saturday💨🎉

Vauxhall Adam with a snapped subframe this is becoming more and more common as these are getting to the 10 year plus mark If you look through the page I’ve done a number of these in the passed months with this one actually snapping whilst pulling into the yard if this had been at even 30mph it would have been a different story🙏🏻 subframe is the same as a corsa get them checked

The mobile mechanic strikes again🙄!!!

This customer had work completed recently due to a the car being involved in a hit and run, she contact myself as the steering wheel was still off centred and shaking and she didn’t feel safe to continue to drive it.

I took the wheel of in front of the customer to find that the track rod ball joint but connecting it to the hub was loose along with the locking nut that locks it in place, aswell as the inner rack end to not be fully tight and missing half of its gator this was all done in front of the customer showing how bad the repairs had been carried out🤦🏻‍♂️!!

Track rod end ball joint, locking nut and the inner rack end all tightened and booked in with myself for a new gator Monday👍🏻

Please do your checks before you trust any idiot to undertake the work on your vehicle no matter how desperate you are to get it done, when joe bloggs turns up with his basic Jack blocks of wood and concrete please use your heads!! This is the second vehicle this week I’m going over after the same guy they are out there and they will rip you off🤦🏻‍♂️

S-max recovered in as Non starter diagnosed as Body Control module fault, pending further work to rectify this fault tomorrow.

Vauxhall vivaro in for a replacement turbo unfortunately the turbo impeller has seized stripped ready for the new turbo to come in💪🏻

Audi A1 in for front discs and pads. Customer was experiencing very harsh vibrations whilst braking this was caused due to seized calliper sliding pins, pins removed and re greased and fresh brake discs and pads fitted👌🏻

Same day availability on all wear and tear items- brakes,suspension etc

Another busy day yesterday💪🏻

Honda civic in for fresh oil + filter🔰

Seat Leon in to diagnose intermittent window fault, we diagnosed this as a switch new one ordered👌🏻

Skoda Octavia vrs was in with us previously for a fresh oil+ filter requested by customer due to a rattle sometimes when warm, came back to us after managing to get it to rattle again and we found to be play in the turbo actuator itself but also signs of oil starvation likely caused by the oil pump wetbelt breaking down customer advised on best options👌🏻

Another busy day today💪🏻

Vauxhall vivaro
In to identify a knocking on the front found the drop link on the drivers side still loose these were fitted new elsewhere 6months ago🤦🏻‍♂️, play found in both outer steering rack ends. Two new track rod ends fitted and drop link tightened up!

Ford Fiesta
came in for fresh oil+filter as requested by customer aswell as a fresh set of brake discs and pads on the front

Skoda Octavia Vrs in to finish the day💪🏻customer got in touch for desperate for fresh oil+filter at 3pm from a previous customers recommendation. As you can see form the state of the filter it was well overdue and had started to suck itself in,
All done and dusted to finish the day off💪🏻
