We have recently completed a couple of jobs, the first of which involved a Kia Sportage that was brought in with a snapped timing chain. Further inspection revealed that the damage was more severe than initially anticipated, resulting in four bent valves. To rectify the issue, a new chain kit and cylinder head work were necessary, after which the vehicle was returned to the customer. Today, we will be servicing a Citroen Relay motor home that requires MOT work, including a minor welding repair on the nearside inner arch, replacement of the horn with a push-button unit due to a faulty steering wheel squib, and installation of new wipers, with the customer receiving a full 12-month MOT prior to their weekend trip, as well as an Audi A3 requiring a new auxiliary belt and tensioner. A Jaguar XF 3.0 V6 was brought in for water leak repairs. After conducting a pressure test, the origin of the leak was identified. The water outlet in the middle of the 'V' was replaced, rectifying the issue, and the vehicle was subsequently collected by the customer.
