Just arrived-the most fantastic Jensen Interceptor I’ve ever seen…
This one was bought by the last owner in 2020 with a view to turning it into the best Interceptor he could. 6 years and over £60000 (excluding the original purchase price) have been lavished on this, and a lucky new owner will get a fabulous car.
It’s a 1973 Interceptor III J series, with 59000 miles and massive service history back to day 1 factory build records.

ook the 1948 Chevy for a blast down to for their monthly cars and coffee meet - I’d forgotten what a blast it is to drive. Usual friendly welcome from the crew, great coffee (no bacon roll for me due to doctors orders, but they are great) and some great, and/or rare cars including a magnificent 911 in dark green, and a flat front Saab 900 Turbo. And everyone loved the Chevy, natch..

Our last reel about Capri’s was very popular. Instagram reels don’t really work if they’re over 3 min long, so here’s part 2 as in total it’s over 7 min of my rambling.

Out for a spin in our superlative 1968 Lotus Cortina MKII.
This wonderful example has covered under 13000 miles from new, and had just one owner from 1978 until it came to us a couple of months ago.
Fitted with an uprated Lotus 1583cc twin cam engine with Burton Power internals, Kent cams, big valve head and reputedly good for 150bhp, which considering it weighs about the same as a big bag of spuds, means it’s pretty lively, and sounds great too.
We do have the original 1558cc engine if matching numbers etc are your thing.
Suffice to say I don’t think you’ll find a better one.

Agreed a deal on this way back in March with a client in Australia, who’s subsequently strung us along re paying the balance, so it’s back on the market.
It’s a rare 1993 Alpine A610 turbo, and one of just 68 original UK RHD cars.
These will give a 911 a run for its money in the right hands, but with Renault running gear.
It’s enormous fun, and, again in comparison to 911’s, classic car meets are a long way from being cluttered up with them and their ‘I’m not an enthusiast, I’ve just got enough money for a 911’ brigade, most of whom probably couldn’t tell you where the engine on a 911 is…

live on our website later this week is this rather nice 1984 Capri 2.8 Injection. An early 5-speed car, showing 80-odd thousand miles, it had a glass out repaint around 2022 and still looks the part. Sounds great too, with a sports exhaust system, and drives just the way it should. ‘The car you always promised yourself’ etc etc.
Price? It’ll be £15995
