Had this customer come in with an engine light on the dash.

Here’s what we have found, a new lambda sensor (exhaust gas sensor) has been fitted but what looks to have happened with the old one coming off it must’ve been ridiculously tight and has caused the welding on the exhaust to snap which has left the vehicle with a exhaust leak.

The engine light has been triggered due to the exhaust leak therefore the sensor isn’t measuring all the exhaust gasses going through the exhaust system as there was the exhaust leak.

A new flexi hose exhaust and the issue was resolved.
