Well what can we say about Weekend of Wheels, We need to thank so many people and I will probably forget someone so sorry, let’s start by thanking the sponsors without them the show would not happen or only be half as good.

We would like to thank Motus Commercial for their continued sponsorship, support and attendance at the event, A J Rice Carpets & Vinyls Ltd Ward Recycling for their continued support with the skips for rubbish, Hub and Spoke Solutions, VanVibe App , Jim Donnelly and Andrew Sheriston , we want to thank the following club members and helpers over the weekend, Martin aka Moogz, Lucas aka Frosty, Paul aka Pablo, Sean, Phil aka Jagger, Shane, Yazz, Ryan, Adam n Harrison, Russells, Tony, a big thanks to Wendy & Jonathan who really pitched in even though they didn’t have to, Thanks to John Evans, who came early to camp and we put him to work lol, Thanks to Edward Jones top dude, a thanks to Tom who loaned us a van to do all the duties such as all the gear for setup, empty bins and keep toilet rolls stocked up.

A big, big thank you to Frankie who co-ordinated the traders/stall and helped get them signed up to attend that was 2nd to none, huge help, and to all of the traders, caterers, bar, food, and H Strange of Matlock for the generator, and of course the bouncy castles.

Samantha and Tara for taking charge of the Merch Stall "Ā£24" haha, and Darkside Clothing for getting the Merch to us, thanks Chris Lewis,

We want to thank Shrek White and Max for Security over the weekend, doing patrols and making sure the site was safe at all times.

We need to say a big thanks not too big as we pay them a huge exorbitant fee lolz, Acacia Radio and their entire team for the laughs, entertainment and music over the entire weekend, these guys n gals work so hard and help make the event what it has become, and we are truly grateful to work together, oh and sorry about the marquee, don’t bill us please.

And now for thanking the bands, we want to thank Unforgiven for playing Friday Night and some of those that know, Unforgiven played our 1st show in 2019 this is their 3rd appearance, they played an amazing set, then onto Chris Cooke and his Karaoke jams,

Saturday, we had Midnight Shift performing with special guest Malcolm Allured perform a few song, who remembers Malc from Shawaddywaddy? followed by Calming Storm, hearing Ace of Spades acoustic gives us chills. We then had a guest appearance from Danny Bowes, from the rock band ā€˜Thunder’ and current Planet Rock DJ, which was sponsored by Alex Clifford and Jane Clarke. To top off Saturday’s entertainment The Mighty Traitors played their fantastic set, another very popular and talented band returning to the show. Then onto Chris and his Karaoke jams again, so a big thanks to you all,

Sunday, we would like to Thank Danny Fisher with his Elvis tribute, returning to Weekend of Wheels due to public demand, Miss Charlotte Porter closed off the live music with her Jazz/swing melodies and boy can she sing and entertain, so to all the bands, a big thanks from Coffee N Cars.

Thank you to Scott, Harvey and Allison for your help with creating the trophies, they were awesome.

We had the Air Ambulance Raffle Auction hosted by Shaun and Lucas from Acacia Radio, we had so many items gifted to us for this, Road Angel Group for the donations of a dash cam and cleaning products, Motus an RC Truck, Mark Fennemore a Camaro Model Car, Mallard Art, Happy Turner, Mobile Monocle, and a ton of other things donated I can’t list them all, we raised over Ā£800 in the Raffle/Auction making a huge total of over Ā£1000 for them, we are still waiting for totals,

The Perimeter cruise was amazing, seeing all the guests driving slowly around the entire campsite at a slow pace allowing photos and videos of the cars and trucks, this is something we all love to see, it’s very controlled and having your grandkids in the car or on the tailgate with you, just makes for a happy time and great memories to you will always look back at,

We want to thank the & Yorkshire Boxer Rescue for putting on the dog shows Saturday and Sunday, we saw so many happy dogs walking around,

We want to thank Craig & Elliott Racing team for coming and showing off their stock cars from American Super Stock at Melbourne raceway, you can find Rebecca Elliott promoting that.

Big thanks to Limited Funz Racing for bringing along their slock car racers and custom chop that was build by their late father and a pride possession for the family team,

Radford Raleigh Club, it was great to see the old Raleigh bikes, 3 wheeled delivery bike, Chopper, Tomahawk and racers, thank you so much for coming out and entertaining us all.

And of course PeeWee Toilets, who are not the cheapest, but the best, they don’t stink nasty and always clean, this is something we will not skimp on for all of you.

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing your weekend with us, for bearing with us whilst we sorted camping spots out (work in progress), and for supporting us with our wild dream, which brought the event to life. We’ll continue to build, and we hope to be back, and we hope that you will continue this journey with us

Attila and Jane.
