14th April 2019: Having been in correspondence with Chris on a daily basis since the car arrived in his workshop, he sent over some pictures today of the current progress😁. He's removed the bodywork from the original chassis and temporarily mounted it on the new one. He's also temporarily fitted the windscreen and raised the canopy by 20mm as there was an existing issue with head space. In doing so, he's increased the total headroom to around 110mm when sitting on the floorpan of the chassis, bearing in mind he's 6ft 2in. That should be plenty for myself and my brother. We also need to consider how the padding of the seats will affect the headroom, however we should still have more than enough to allow for a crash helmet too.
