Please read and take note of what the Highway Code says about driving in wet conditions.

Wet weather is sweeping the country – how does this affect braking? 🚗

Highway Code rule 126 explains stopping distances and how much space to leave between you and the vehicle in front of you.

Remember:

Leave a two-second gap between you and the vehicle in front – especially on motorways and in tunnels 🛣️

Leave a four-second gap when driving on wet roads 🌧️

Remember: large vehicles and motorcycles need a greater distance to stop. If in doubt, leave a four-second gap 🚛

Many congratulations to Kelynn who PASSED FIRST TIME this morning. Kelynn had an intensive course of 45 hours inc test time. She came to me as a complete novice and worked hard between lessons going out with family members and getting herself amongst the traffic which certainly helped her on the road to success. Stay safe and happy driving. It’s been a pleasure.
