Your majesty, you had taken on the role as queen at a young age and kept to your promise you gave all those years ago and never gave up, no matter how tough it was at times for you leading the way and showing others how it should be done.

We thank you for your service that you gave to the nation as per your promise, may you now be at rest

The day we visited Thorsby Hall Hotel Classic Shows. This was a first for the section to visit an event as a club display with 11 vehicles ranging from a beautiful 20/25, silver wraith & silver dawn, S1, spur, spirits, turbos & continental all looking glorious and a show stopper for all the public to see gathered.

The display created a lot of interest and many questions was asked on the vehicles mainly how much MPG do we get, a few club members gave a talk on there vehicles in the parade ring while being judged on different classes of years throughout the day.

We hope to visit this venue again next year for another day out meeting club members and the public

Car detailing, how far do you go ?

Anyone who is very proud and passionate about there Rolls-Royce or Bentley motor vehicle will have a stock of products for detailing all areas of the vehicle.

The door shuts/treads often overlooked areas that go unnoticed but are a huge part of the greeting to the Owners or passengers of the vehicle. And are an area that is a must for a good cleaning down especially over the winter months, if you use the vehicle all year round.

The door tread rubber matting can collect all sorts of debris not only from passengers alighting the vehicle but also dust and standing water from being washed or driven in wet weather.

One product that can be used is Autoglym leather cleaner along with a nail brush to give the treads a deep clean, and a damp cloth to wipe of the excess residue after cleaning. No need to add anything else after cleaning (we don’t want any slippy feet especially the driver)just let it air dry and you will have a like new Matt finish to the treads.

Did you enjoy drive it day on Sunday 25th April, a few members of the EMSection did just that with an outing taken upon them selfs with a visit to Hardwick Hall, the sun was shining and the paint & chrome work glistening with onlookers admiring the vehicles, ranging from a silver shadow, Bentley Mulsanne S, A Silver spur, & late silver spirit with a couple of Bentley Aranges in an array of colours to suit all tastes.

If you haven’t made a visit to Hardwick Hall it’s a must do visit, beautiful grounds and in an estate that is very much suited to all types of walkers who ether like full on adventures or sedately walks and talks with family or friends with a visit to the local pub on route.

We can’t wait to meet you all at one of our official organised events in the coming summer months.
