The wait is finally over! Tonight, Only Fools and Horses fans will get the chance to see footage from the much-loved sitcom that has remained unseen for decades.

Only Fools and Horses: The Lost Archive is a brand-new two-part documentary celebrating the programme’s 45th anniversary, featuring scenes that were filmed but never included in the original episodes.

Researchers have uncovered 66 previously unseen clips and scenes, along with nearly 100 other archive discoveries, including behind-the-scenes footage, photographs and outtakes.

Among the highlights are new moments from The Jolly Boys’ Outing, including an improvised football match, additional scenes featuring Boycie and an extended appearance by a young Jake Wood.

Another recent discovery is Raquel’s missing nightclub audition from The Class of ’62, a scene viewers previously only heard about in the episode.

There’s also material from A Royal Flush, Mother Nature’s Son, Chain Gang and Time on Our Hands.

Sir David Jason returns to revisit the footage, alongside Tessa Peake-Jones, Gwyneth Strong, Sue Holderness, Steven Woodcock and Denis Lill.

The cast will share their memories of filming the series and pay tribute to its creator, John Sullivan, as they watch scenes that many haven’t seen since they were originally recorded.

For fans who have watched these episodes countless times, the chance to discover something genuinely new is quite exciting.

The first part of Only Fools and Horses: The Lost Archive airs tonight, Tuesday 20th October, at 9pm on U&GOLD, with the second part following on Tuesday 27th October.

Sunday 13th September saw the Trotter Van up in Stoke, where we picked up Ross our Groom and his bestman Craig from 'the Dog & Doublet Inn'. 🍻🍺

We then headed over to 'Aston Marina' for the ceremony and reception. 🚤🛶🛥⚓️

A huge congratulations to Ross and Arleta. We wish them health and happiness in their future together! 💛🥂
