Price Reduced on this totally Original 1976 Mercedes 280SE W116, it is a real bargain at £10990. Only 2 owners from new. Right Hand Drive with full leather interior. Assembled and owned (Two owners from new) in South Africa, the car benefits from not having been subject to European winter cold and moisture, making this a very solid car. Paintwork is original with some natural patina.
It is very eye-catching and receives plenty of attention and compliments from passers by.
It was put through a Roadworthy inspection (The SA equivalent of an MOT) in February of 2022 just before being shipped across to the UK. The car has also just had two brand new front shocks fitted. Current mileage is 111k.
We have part service history from the garage that looked after it for several years whilst in possession of the second owner. These stamps date back to 2011. The dash has a few visible cracks thanks to the heat of the South African sun as well as the driver’s seat leather being somewhat damaged from age, heat and general wear and tear but this all adds to the originality of this superb car.
