I was in the workshop at half 4 this morning. I had a clean up before Newport Removal came to empty my waste bin.

I was then flat out on the front seats for the classic Porsche 911.

At 9am, a Mercedes was dropped off for a driver seat base replacement, once done it was back working on the porsche seats.

A bit of heat and some tweaking tomorrow and the front seats are finished.

The rear seats next, then the doorcards followed by the other bits of trim, not forgetting the other jobs dropped in daily.

I miss my dad. One of the most respected car upholsterers in South Wales when he passed in 2016. Just short of 40 years in the trade.

I threw myself in the deep end and so far I've stayed afloat, but I know if he was around today he would be my buoyancy aid and help me move forward.
