2011 VW Caddy 1.6 TDi (105BHP) in for a Custom Stage 2 ECU Remap on our Calibrated 2WD Dyno!
😍 **Smokeyyy Caddy Map 🤣**

Vehicle came in previously tuned producing 130 HP 263 NM.

We started again after the vehicle had a few modifications fitted as the customer felt it was still lacking a little. We managed to increase the output to 155 bhp and 329 Nm, which is pretty much the limit for this setup.

The customer wasn’t concerned about smoke, so we added the extra fuel it needed. Definitely a smoky one! 💨 The DPF and EGR had already been removed before the vehicle came to us.

We still suspect there may be a slight issue low down in the rev range as the vehicle wasn’t meeting the requested boost. We discussed this with the customer, who agreed with what we said.

We brought the turbo in earlier, significantly reducing factory lag achieving a far more consistent power delivery.

Another mapping fix to go alongside the mechanical work!

This one came in running unbelievably flat after being passed between countless tuners and garages for various jobs. The DPF had already been mapped out despite still being in place and the DTC table had been completely nuked 🤦‍♂️

The van eventually made its way to Urban Autocare next door to us to have the job done properly. The DPF was completely blocked and they were amazed it hadn’t taken out another turbo especially considering the owner was already on turbo number five!

It’s hard to understand why so many people choose the cheapest option when this is often the result. Pay cheap, pay twice!

The van is now back on the road, running like a dream and sweet as a nut 👌
