Turning spaghetti junction into a working radio! Customer came to me wanting an aftermarket radio wiring in. Unfortunately the install wasn't as easy as previous installs I've done, as this radio only came with a plug on the radio end, bare wires on the other! Luckily, I like a challenge. Do you buy and sell cars? Are you handy with spanners and take on your own driveway project? If you're having issues with your vehicle and don't want to pay the dealers a hefty amount for a fault scan session, I can help with that. I charge £25 per vehicle (discounts available if you book in with me for more than one car - handy for vehicle salespeople etc) and I come out to you - again, handy for the people who have projects on the go.

What does £25 get exactly?

Well, you get an in depth look at how your vehicle systems are performing, battery health etc etc, I can read and clear stored fault codes, turn off engine lights (this is by no means a fix, it is just temporary until you are able to get the issue sorted - I can appoint mechanics, both mobile and garages).

I offer a jumpstart service, handy if your battery has gone dead overnight and cant get the car started (obviously beneficial to people who dont have breakdown cover.. I know I've been guilty of that).

Or maybe youve bought a new set of wheels and need a hand putting them on?

Warning lights on car dashboards are very vague and give next to no information about what the actual fault is or where it is occuring. We provide an in depth scan that trawls through the multiple management systems cars have today and pinpoints exactly what the issue is and where it is occurring, from major engine malfunction right down to a faulty parking sensor, and gives a specific fault code relating to the issue. So if you have any form of warning light on your dashboard and want us to come take a look please do not hesitate to get in touch.

I charge £25 for this service and it includes a free battery health check via obd2, which shows the exact voltage of the battery.

I also provide other miscellaneous automobile related services, please get in touch to discuss, but please do bare in mind that I primarily provide a diagnostics service, I am not a mechanic therefore if your car requires mechanical attention beyond my skill or knowledge, I will be happy to provide names and numbers of reputable garages/mobile mechanics.

Called out to a twingo today for a jumpstart. Customer was in a hurry so I stayed with the car until it was able to be turned off and starting under its own steam in order for him to be able to get where he was going on time. Got the car running and gave the car a going over with the diagnostic machine, which uncovered a few hidden faults (no engine light illuminated). This is a prime example of why services like this are so important. Locked the car, posted the key, sent the diagnostic report to customer.

** You don't need to wait for something to go wrong on your car or a fault light to show, in order to know there's an issue. I will try my best every time to go above and beyond for my customers, no matter how small the issue is!

OFFICIAL DIAGNOSTIC REPORTS NOW AVAILABLE VIA EMAIL. When you book in with me I can usually find, record and clear the faults within minutes in order to turn the vehicle's warning lights off, but I have been able to link my machine to my email address in order to send an official report to customers. This will incur an extra £5 charge (£30 all in) but this also includes a vehicle VIN and mileage record check, which is handy if you think your vehicle is suspiciously under-mileage for it's age, and verifies the vehicle hasn't been subjected to any other illegal goings on. If you have any issues with your vehicle and would like to book in, please do not hesitate to get in touch as I can usually come out to you on the day ❤️ ** I should add, the email service is totally optional, not something to be pushed onto my customers :)
