This is a fun bookstore...the majority of the books on view depict drivers and era's past. Simpler but not necessarily better times, less commercial maybe.

The MM213 Lola T163 Sunoco and Simoniz is now in preparation as is the 1939 version of the De Villars Delage.

We now have the pattern for the MM229 Ferrari P3 coupe with CMA for casting and will be collecting new patterns for 2 new Chaparrals this week. Chris will be starting work on the Morgan Plus 8 shortly.

Aston Martin DB4 Sport

Built on a accident damaged 1961 DB4 chassis, the Aston DB4S Barchetta is a fabulous creation from the mind of Jean-Christophe Marchand ,an important member of the French AMOC.Built in Northampton by Shapecraft with a DB4 GT engine it is a beautiful mix of the DB4 GT Zagato and the 1959 DBR1.

Are we straying into an area where art overtakes models? I'm no snob when it comes to model 1/43 automobiles, I like many varied makes beit resin, die-cast or whitemetal or plastic......I think, for me, it's authenticity in replication...if it looks right, it is....and I don't care if the model cost several hundred pounds or just a few. Just appreciate the skill and craft that goes into making these models.
