Congratulations to Polish Nurse Anastazja Guszpit, who despite having never turned a wheel in a car before; and only starting to learn to drive when 'slightly' older than most other people do, (56 years*), passed her test in Macclesfield with Peter earlier this week with a really competent drive.
What a tremendous achievement, and a great example to others that you really can do anything if you just put your mind to it and want it enough!
You'd said at the start that learning to drive would give you freedom, independence and mobility, aswell as opening up other 'doors' for you. Well, you overcame all the obstacles with skill and tenacity and finally achieved your dream. I know that it will change your life forever Anastazja, and I'm so pleased for you, even if I will miss all our conversations and laughs in the car!

*Anastazja gave permission to publish her age.

It was so worth the 7am early start for Amelia who passed yesterday with just 2 faults after a great drive. It even stopped raining during the test!
Well done Amelia - you’ve been a fantastic hard working learner and thoroughly deserved this pass. Enjoy being able to drive your car on your own finally.
Cheers Clare 🚗🚗

Congratulations Jonny on passing your test at Bredbury on Wednesday morning. You kept your nerve and drove calmly throughout. I’m sure it will make a big difference to your family to now have an extra driver available and I wish you safe and enjoyable driving in the future. It’s been a pleasure to help you finally get your licence.

Massive congratulations to Jude Bennett who passed his test in Macclesfield this morning with Peter. Even more congratulations for doing so with ZERO DRIVER FAULTS! (Only 1.2% of all tests taken in the UK result in such an impressive result, so you should feel especially proud of yourself as it's a tremendous achievement).
I had always said that you had the potential to achieve such a feat, as you've always been a 'natural', so it's no more than you deserve Jude.
It's been an absolute pleasure to teach you, and I'll miss our Friday mornings in the car together. You have come a very long way from those early lessons where you were so fearful of hill starts and going more than 10 mph! Well done!
