A little late posting but a great start to the day on Monday for Evie who achieved a first time pass! The 8am test is always a bit of an early start for both of us but a pass makes it absolutely 💯 worthwhile! The last few weeks have seen an extra push to gain experience and I'm sure has been extra stressful with A levels having just started as well. You've been a pleasure to teach, taking feedback on board and gaining confidence and an extra well done for keeping the nerves in check for the test. Good luck with A levels and whatever comes next in the future!

And today we made it 3 out of 3! Massive congrats to Mia who nailed it on her first attempt this morning, picking up just one driving fault. You've listened to feedback and taken things on board and obviously developed into a very competent driver as today proves. Thanks to family as well for the extra practice - as always it makes a big difference. Good luck with upcoming exams and enjoy the summer!

...and then back to the test centre at 2.22 with Lottie who I'm pleased to say passed on her first attempt with just a couple of driving faults. Remember to look out for those speed limit signs and when you spot any for more than 30mph, don't forget 5th and maybe even 6th gear! Good luck with upcoming exams and whatever comes next!

Another day, another first time pass! Very well done to Luca who passed with flying colours this morning at Melton Test Centre. We had a real push over the last few weeks to familiarise you with the Melton area after doing most of the lessons in Loughborough but it paid off in the end - extra practice with dad also helped of course. Massive congratulations and I hope you enjoy your new found independence! Sure I'll see you around given the rather distinctive colour of your car!

We’re putting learners in control of their car driving test bookings 🚘

If you’ve got a booking or you’ll be looking for a test soon, make a note of these dates 📅

31 March 2026 – only 2 changes can be made to a booking

12 May 2026 – only learners are allowed to book a test and make changes

9 June 2026 – learners can move their booked test only to nearby centres

By changing who can book car and change driving tests, we’re aiming to reduce the re-selling of driving tests, giving the power back to learners 💪

Wonderful result today for Mya who smashed it at the first attempt at Loughborough test centre. You did really well to keep the nerves in check and ending with just one driving fault is a cracking result. You've done a great job building your confidence up - it's fair to say your love of roundabouts took a while to develop but we got there! Thanks also to mum for the additional practice. Good luck with A levels and the future!

Busy few weeks here with the 5th test in 5 weeks and I'm delighted to say it's another first time pass! Congratulations to Rebecca whose turn it was today at Loughborough test centre. Being a Uni student meant Rebecca didn't have the benefit of extra practice outside lessons so the result today was even more of an achievement. Really well done and thoroughly deserved after the extra effort in lessons these last few weeks. Good luck with the rest of Uni whatever comes next!!

Fantastic result for Emelia this morning - well worth the early start for an 8am test! First time pass with just 4 driving faults is a great outcome! With a couple of gaps for exams and travelling, we've had a massive push in the last couple of weeks with help from mum and Ethan but its all been worth it. You've been a pleasure to teach although I do recommend a new alarm clock for those important events! (This from the instructor who is constantly 5 mins behind time!). Enjoy travelling part 2 and good luck for the future!!
