A very well deserved pass for Tom yesterday! First attempt with just 4 faults. Pretty horrible weather - hence the in-car picture - but definitely worth the effort you've put in especially over the last 2 or 3 weeks. Thanks to help from parents as well. Wonderful result today for Elissa who smashed it at the first attempt at Melton test centre. You did brilliantly to keep the nerves in check today and it clearly showed given you finished with just 2 driving faults. The extra effort you've put in over the last 2 or 3 weeks was definitely worth it - thanks to mum and dad for the additional practice as well. Just make sure you get a car with good sat nav and set up a GPS tracker on your phone so when you get lost (which I think is a distinct possibility!), someone will be able to find you! Seriously - well done and happy driving!!

Fantastic result for Elissa yesterday at Melton Test Centre - another first time pass with just 3 driving faults. Coming straight after a stressful A level exam period, it wasn't the best of timing so we had a real concentrated effort over the last few days. Well done for keeping the test day nerves at bay and I'm sure you'll continue to develop your newly acquired skills. Thanks to mum and dad as well for the extra practice. Its been a pleasure to see you grow in confidence and good luck for the future. Happy driving!

A little late posting but a great start to the day on Monday for Evie who achieved a first time pass! The 8am test is always a bit of an early start for both of us but a pass makes it absolutely 💯 worthwhile! The last few weeks have seen an extra push to gain experience and I'm sure has been extra stressful with A levels having just started as well. You've been a pleasure to teach, taking feedback on board and gaining confidence and an extra well done for keeping the nerves in check for the test. Good luck with A levels and whatever comes next in the future!

And today we made it 3 out of 3! Massive congrats to Mia who nailed it on her first attempt this morning, picking up just one driving fault. You've listened to feedback and taken things on board and obviously developed into a very competent driver as today proves. Thanks to family as well for the extra practice - as always it makes a big difference. Good luck with upcoming exams and enjoy the summer!

...and then back to the test centre at 2.22 with Lottie who I'm pleased to say passed on her first attempt with just a couple of driving faults. Remember to look out for those speed limit signs and when you spot any for more than 30mph, don't forget 5th and maybe even 6th gear! Good luck with upcoming exams and whatever comes next!

Another day, another first time pass! Very well done to Luca who passed with flying colours this morning at Melton Test Centre. We had a real push over the last few weeks to familiarise you with the Melton area after doing most of the lessons in Loughborough but it paid off in the end - extra practice with dad also helped of course. Massive congratulations and I hope you enjoy your new found independence! Sure I'll see you around given the rather distinctive colour of your car!

We’re putting learners in control of their car driving test bookings 🚘

If you’ve got a booking or you’ll be looking for a test soon, make a note of these dates 📅

31 March 2026 – only 2 changes can be made to a booking

12 May 2026 – only learners are allowed to book a test and make changes

9 June 2026 – learners can move their booked test only to nearby centres

By changing who can book car and change driving tests, we’re aiming to reduce the re-selling of driving tests, giving the power back to learners 💪
