Pyewacket is a 4 berth, 60ft traditional stern, traditional layout narrowboat built in 2003 by David Thomas and fitted out by Merlin Narrowboats.

She features a traditional layout with a utilities cabin and bedroom at the stern. The aft cabin features access to the engine, and a freezer and washing machine.
The bedroom features a fixed single bed that extends into a double, and cupboard and shelf storage.
The bathroom is appointed with a vanity unit with sink and storage, shower cubicle, and a pump out toilet.
The galley is well appointed with ample worktop space, cupboard and drawer storage, a four ring gas burner, oven and grill, and a sink with drainer.
The saloon features an L-shaped dinette that converts into a double berth, a duck hatch, two chairs, a solid fuel stove, radiators, cupboard storage, and direct access to the bow and welldeck area. The welldeck area features a board with windows and a cover.

Kestrel is a 1936 traditional stern 71.5 foot narrowboat built by Yarwood, W. J. & Sons Ltd, Northwich.
W. J. & Sons Ltd is a company name steeped in history. W. J. & Sons Ltd were responsible for building narrowboats for the Grand Union Canal Carrying Company, alongside building almost every ship component of the time – and a significant quantity of ships for the Admiralty and the Air Ministry!
Kestrel was built as part of the Grand Union Canal Carrying Company’s modernisation programme, and was first named Triagulum.

Kestrel is the ideal boat for anybody looking to fit-out a longer narrowboat to their own specification. The covered hold is currently spray foam insulated throughout, and the hull has been 2 pack epoxied.

There is no engine onboard Kestrel, and there never has been – meaning she may be best placed on a permanent mooring where one can fit her out as seen fit, so that she may be enjoyed in the countryside as a floating home.

There is a boatman’s cabin onboard. From the exterior, this holds as a traditional fixture; but it will require fitting out to your specification.

Kestrel presents ample opportunity for building a cosy floating home with a traditional touch, owing to the boat’s historical origin.
