There are certain cars that sit above the usual wish list.
For us, the SLR has always been one of them.
So being trusted to quietly bring the right people together, help structure the deal and see this one through to completion has been a pretty special moment for Speedbroker.
The SLR is a fascinating car. Mercedes-Benz, McLaren, a hand-built supercharged V8, carbon construction and a completely unique approach to the supercar. Nearly two decades on, there is still very little else that feels quite like one.
And that is exactly the sort of car we built Speedbroker around.
There are plenty of ways to sell an important car.
Auction can be absolutely the right route for the right vehicle.
Sale or return with a specialist dealer can work brilliantly too.
Private sale has its place.
Our role is simply another option.
