“Staying True to What We Build”
A message from Reg and Gail Gorman
For more than four decades, we’ve lived and breathed volumetric concrete. We’ve watched the industry evolve from the early days of ingenuity and engineering pride to the era of mass production and cost-cutting.
Along the way, one thing has never changed — our belief that quality should never be compromised.
Over the past few years, we’ve seen increasing pressure in the market — cheaper imports, aggressive pricing, and a growing focus on “how low can you go?” rather than “how well is it built?”
It’s a trend that’s affected much of British manufacturing, and the volumetric industry has been no exception.
At Premier MBP, we chose not to join that race to the bottom. We believed — and still believe — that a truck built with care, precision, and pride will always outlast one built to a price.
Our customers know the difference. They’ve seen it on site, in the pour, and in the years of reliable service that follow.
That’s why, although Premier MBP has now entered administration, we want to say this directly: we have no regrets.
We stood by our principles. We built trucks we were proud to put our name on. And we’re deeply grateful to every one of you who shared that belief — our customers, suppliers, engineers, and friends who have stood with us through the years.
This isn’t the end of the story.
Our passion for engineering, service, and innovation in the volumetric industry continues through our other businesses and beyond. The same hands, the same experience, and the same pride in what we do remain firmly in place.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
Thank you for valuing quality when it wasn’t always fashionable to do so.
And thank you for reminding us that integrity and craftsmanship will always find their way back to the heart of British industry.
With gratitude and respect,
Reg & Gail Gorman
