Do you know anyone who has had a 2024-2025 Honda SH350 (in the colour scheme below) stolen from January to December 2025 in the London area? The bike had less than a thousand miles before its theft.

Own one of the following motorbikes?
• Yamaha MT-03, MT-07
• Yamaha R3
• Yamaha X-MAX 300, X-MAX 400
• Honda CRF 250, 300, 450
• Honda SH 300, SH 350
• Honda PCX
• Honda Forza 300, Forza 350

These are just some of the motorbikes commonly stolen and ringed* by thieves, in most cases it can take up to two years to get these bikes seized and forensically examined by the police to confirm to the bikes true ID.

Having your motorbikes Datatagged has been proven to speed up the process of having a vehicle seized and identified as *your* bike, the numerous identification markers makes it extremely difficult for criminals to hide the bikes true ID.

In cases where the true ID cannot be ascertained, the vehicle is scrapped.

* Changing the registration plate, vehicle identification number (VIN) and engine serial number to a similar looking vehicle that has been written off or not reported as scrapped.

This here is a 2020 Yamaha TMAX 560 we believe has had its identity cloned onto a stolen TMAX. The scooter was involved in an accident in June 2025 which resulted in severe frame damage.

Another cold case solved thanks to the brilliant work by our colleagues, who immediately identified this ringed Yamaha R3 as one stolen in 2023!

We absolutely cannot thank the Metropolitan Police Service enough for their hard work in assisting us in the seizure of the motorbike! Currently it is with the insurance company to determine whether or not it can go back on the road.

Our message to motorbike riders is to get your bikers data tagged as not only can it decrease the cost of your insurance but it increases the chance of your bike being identified in the event it is stolen and ringed.

Notes: We suspect this Honda PCX was stolen from Hull as it was originally listed for sale there on August 11th (25), then it moved to Newcastle on September 29th (25).

As previously stated the Honda PCX model years have a redesigned frame meaning you cannot put components from a 2022 model onto a 2016 model.
