Some good advice sent to me by a close friend in Italy. Given the current trials and tribulations of the world, it's not a bad idea. Please read, it's not long...
GO OUT, even if you don't know where to go
and even if you have no one to see.
Sometimes the soul doesn't ask for solutions.
Asking for air.
Change of scenery can make your heart beat again.
Seeing people walk by
hearing some more noises,
Realizing that life goes on beating
beyond those walls
in which you feel still today.
Walking for a few minutes can heal more than you think.
Sitting under a tree.
Walking into a random bar,
get lost a little without a goal...
this is also taking care of yourself.
You don't need an agenda.
No excuses needed.
You don't need company.
Sometimes the body needs to move
to allow the mind to calm down
and in the mood to find a little respite.
Do it for yourself.
Because a step outside, even tiny,
it can lighten up a lot
of what you carry inside.
Answers aren’t always needed.
Sometimes you just need it
changing the air .
