BABY BEES! πΆπ»π Bee Sister Leia with a beautiful bee brood last year.
Dreaming of less rainy beekeeping days today βοΈ Bring on the next season!
These cells are where Queenie lays her eggs, which develop into larvae then pupae, before emerging as adult bees. The larvae are fed royal jelly by wonderful worker bees, then capped off to grow big and strong. The capping is darker than the white capping used to retain honey (as seen on top of our Craft Honey!). What a beautiful bee process π
π No sound as Bee Sisters Bertie and Leia were chatting away...as usual! π
