From April 2028, electric and plug-in hybrid cars will pay a new tax based on how far they travel. The government confirmed the details of electric Vehicle Excise Duty (eVED) on 13 July 2026, including special arrangements for fleet operators and leasing companies.

This morning, Sir Kevin Sinfield sets off from St Helens at 10:45am on the last leg of the last 7 in 7 challenge. Calling in at Warrington on the way to Old Trafford. He'll finish on the pitch before the Super League Final, carrying the official match ball.

Day 5 of 7. Over the Pennines!

Sir Kevin Sinfield and his team leave Huddersfield today at 8:40am and cross Greater Manchester, running through Kevin's home town of Oldham, before finishing at the Peninsula Stadium in Salford.

By this evening, that's five ultra marathons completed in five days, an incredible achievement. Two more to go.

Day 4 of 7. The team comes to AMT Headingley!

Sir Kevin Sinfield sets off from Wakefield at 8:40am today and is due at AMT Headingley, a ground synonymous with Kevin and Rob Burrow, at around 11:15am.

From there, the team will run on to Bradford and finish at Huddersfield's Accu Stadium.

Day 3 of 7. Back into West Yorkshire!

Sir Kevin Sinfield and his team leave Bishopthorpe at 8:40am on a route that takes them through Tadcaster and Castleford and passes near Rob Burrow's home in Pontefract, before finishing at Wakefield Trinity's DIY Kitchens Stadium.

Day 2 of 7. Shiptonthorpe to York!

Sir Kevin Sinfield and the team set off at 8:40am, running through Pocklington and into York, calling at the University of York and York Knights' LNER Community Stadium before finishing at Bishopthorpe Palace, home of the Archbishop of York.

As on every day of the challenge, people affected by MND will join the team for the Extra Mile, completing a mile together.

The final 7 in 7 starts tomorrow 🏃
