🔧 Another call-out completed by Livingston Mobile Mechanics! 🚗

We had a Nissan Juke that had been failing to start on multiple occasions, so we received a Sunday night call-out to investigate the issue.

After carrying out a full battery, starter motor and alternator test, we found that the battery was faulty. 🔋❌

We returned the following morning, replaced the battery and carried out another full set of tests to make sure everything was working as it should. ✅

Thankfully, everything checked out perfectly and the Juke was back up and running reliably! 🙌

🔧 Another job completed by Livingston Mobile Mechanics! 🚗 🛞

The Father in-law’s Vauxhall Zafira needing some attention to the rear brakes, so we carried out a full rear brake refresh:

✅ Rear brake discs
✅ Rear brake pads
✅ New handbrake cables

All replaced and checked over, getting the Zafira back on the road and braking as it should just in time for his fishing 🎣 trip.

Why wait for a problem to become a bigger (and more expensive) repair? Regular brake checks and preventative maintenance can help keep you and your vehicle safe. 👍

🔧 Another job completed by Livingston Mobile Mechanics! 🚘

This time, we carried out some work on a friend’s car after it received an advisory on the MOT for the rear brakes.🛞

We replaced the rear brake discs and pads, getting everything back up to standard and giving the customer peace of mind that the brakes are in good condition. ✅

It’s always worth getting MOT advisories checked sooner rather than later — dealing with them early can help prevent further wear and potentially more expensive repairs down the line.

🚗 A Bit of a Different Job Today at Livingston Mobile Mechanics 🛞

The vehicle owner thought they were topping up the screen wash… only to discover it had accidentally been poured into the engine instead 🫣

We drained the contaminated oil and carried out multiple oil and filter changes, along with engine flushes, to remove all traces of contamination from the engine 🛢️

This situation could have been fatal to the engine, and because this vehicle is fitted with a wet belt, we strongly recommend having it replaced as soon as possible to prevent further damage
