📸 Well… it finally happened 🤦‍♂️

After around 7 years, several repairs, thousands of events covered and well over a MILLION photos taken, the trusty camera finally decided it had had enough and started playing silly buggers at Oliver’s Mount. 😂

I’ve managed to get it working again… to a certain extent… but let’s be honest, it’s now well past its expected retirement date and is probably held together by dust, hope and questionable engineering. 🙈

So, I’ve bitten the bullet and invested in a "new camera" to make sure I can keep doing what I do without any nasty surprises at future events.

As you can appreciate, cameras aren’t exactly cheap… and neither is keeping them maintained, repaired and operational when they’re being dragged around race circuits, football pitches, boxing events and everything in between all year! 😂

So, every time you book onto one of my Supermoto rider lists, book me for an event, arrange a photoshoot, buy photos etc. you’re genuinely helping me massively to keep doing something I absolutely love. ❤️📸

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to support Shootin’ It Photography. Whether you’ve booked me once or have me following you around race tracks every other weekend! 😂🙏

I'm merely suggesting that £25 for a load of photos is an excellent way of helping a struggling photographer recover from an entirely unnecessary camera-related financial crisis. 🤣🤣

If you want me hunting you down with a camera, throwing myself into questionable positions and generally trying to make you look much faster than you probably actually are… now's your chance! 😂

I'll be arriving Thursday night / Friday morning, so I'll be there for the full weekend and ready to capture all the action — racing, battles, crashes, wheelies, more crashes, questionable lines and everything in between!

As things stand, Teesside is most likely going to be my final round of 2026.
Cadwell Park is looking increasingly unlikely thanks to the wonderful world of track restrictions, red tape and enough rules and regulations to make a government department jealous. 🤣 Apparently, getting a photographer trackside requires approximately 17 forms, 4 signatures, a blood sample and written permission from the Queen's ghost. So unless a small miracle occurs and the bureaucracy gods decide to smile upon me, Teesside will probably be your last chance to get images from me this season.

If I do make it to Cadwell, it'll most likely be as a spectator — which means I'll be there with a camera, but tragically unable to stand in all my usual ridiculous locations! and limited to the same spot for every lap of every race 😂

So if you've been meaning to get yourself on the Shootin' It Photography wall this season…THIS IS PROBABLY YOUR LAST CHANCE! 📸

A little appreciation post…

Some people book you for photos. Some people book you regularly.

And then there’s Andy Mitchell — aka Mr Supermoto. 😂🏁

In over 10 years of me doing Supermoto events, I genuinely don’t think there has been a single round where Andy hasn't booked me for photos in some form.

Riding himself? Booked.
Not riding? Still booked.
Team racing? Booked the team.
Basically, if there’s a Supermoto event happening, Andy has somehow decided that I’m coming too. 😂

And then there’s Jess Mitchell ❤️

Jess has become one of Shootin’ It’s biggest advocates without me ever asking her to be. She’s constantly sharing her photos, tagging the page, giving me credit and generally making sure people know who was behind the camera.

And honestly, that stuff means far more than you probably realise.

Photography isn't just about taking a decent picture. There’s a lot of time, travelling, early mornings, standing around in questionable weather, editing until stupid o’clock and trying not to get taken out by a Supermoto bike involved behind the scenes. 😂

So having people like Andy and Jess who consistently support what I do, trust me to capture their racing and actively shout about my work makes all of that worthwhile.

Andy — 10+ years and still putting up with me. 😂

Jess — thanks for being one of the biggest Shootin’ It cheerleaders out there. ❤️

You’re both absolute legends, and I genuinely appreciate the support more than I can put into words.

Anyway... enough of the serious stuff. I’m back, and it’s time to get you lot booked in.

Round 6 at Oliver’s Mount is less than two weeks away, so if you want photos from this round, now would be a very good time to sort it.

By now, surely you know how this works. I’ve explained it enough times that even a Supermoto rider should have managed to remember it.

But just in case you've forgotten:

You give me £25.
I take photos of you.
I give you photos.
Simple.
