Did you know that certain health conditions must be declared to the DVLA? Not doing so could land you with a ยฃ1,000 fine โ or worse, prosecution if you're involved in an accident. ๐ฌ
Here are some of the most common conditions drivers must report:
๐ง Epilepsy or seizures
โค๏ธ Heart conditions (like arrhythmia, pacemakers, angina)
๐ด Sleep apnoea or extreme tiredness
๐ Vision problems (double vision, glaucoma, or not meeting eyesight standards)
๐ฉธ Diabetes (if treated with insulin)
๐งโโ๏ธ Stroke, mini-stroke (TIA), or blackouts
๐ง Neurological conditions (MS, Parkinsonโs, brain injury)
๐ง Mental health conditions (if they affect your ability to drive)
๐บ Drug or alcohol dependency
