🚐 A VERY EXCITING PROJECT IS UNDERWAY…
We’ve currently got something very special in the workshop — an event vehicle conversion for a national charity.
We can’t share photographs just yet, as we’re waiting for formal sign-off from the organisation we’re carrying out the conversion for. What we can say is that this is far from your standard campervan conversion. It’s a unique project, with a very different specification and purpose, and we’re incredibly proud to be involved.
Alongside this project, we’ve also recently fitted another Fiamma F80 awning for a customer — another job completed to the high standards we pride ourselves on.
⚠️ And then there was a very important discovery…
During another job, we identified an electrical installation where the cabling was far too close to creating a potentially serious fire risk.
We immediately contacted the company that supplied the inverter, explained exactly what we had found, and highlighted the potential consequences. We’re pleased to say that they have since reviewed and reworked their stock to ensure the incorrect cables are no longer supplied.
This is exactly why attention to detail matters.
Electrical systems need to be installed correctly, safely and with the right components from the outset. Something that may look like a small detail can very quickly become a major safety issue — and, in the worst circumstances, a potentially fatal one.
There’ll be much more to come on the charity event vehicle, and we’ll share the details and photographs as soon as we have the go-ahead.
