After 3 attempts to buy a throttle cable off the old tinternet the owner of this Norton got in touch. Each cable he purchased had either the wrong fittings, or was the wrong length.
With the carb and twistgrip in hand and a requested length of 27 inch it was a simple job from there on. Nice to work with well made parts.
We can replace inners in most throttle and clutch cables or remake the whole cable usually with parts held in stock.

Norton Interpol 2 Auction
Mathewsons have a 'just restored by Startright Motorcycles' Norton for sale by auction
tomorrow Wednesday 27th November 2024. It's moly coated,gearbox rebuilt, wiring harness replaced.
As requested by Air TV it was a restoration without a budget limit!
Everything works,nothing left to chance.
Lot 268 at Mathewsons.
Anything less than £7500 is an absolute bargain.

Please keep your eyes peeled for a Fiat Punto PE52XYU Stolen from the carpark overnight Tuesday 24th in to Wednesday 25th. It was to be used to teach my daughter to drive once it's headgasket was repaired. It was taken using a low loader or recovery wagon. I'd just started to clean it up too !
