Another caddy done and dusted

This thing looks great with a unique colour and touran front end. In for our very popular and common pd105 to 130 swap

Already being fitted with a 6 speed 02q box means that side was already done all we had to do was our usual bits and peices

This one like all the ones we have done has had:

Pd130 from a polo gt
Cambelt/waterpump
Headgasket
Pd150 headbolts
Crank mod and crank seal
Injector seals
Fluid flush for clutch line

Another one done and (hopefully) many many more miles trouble free motoring without worrying about that bls engine

Another 130 caddy conversion done and in the bag 👌

Originally with a BMM These are quite an unusual engine and turbo setup. Being factory fitted with a 2.0 valve tdi which in basic terms is the same as a 1.9 it also has a DPF and a few other differences

This van had already had a 6 speed swap with an 02q from a mk5 golf so that was one thing ticked off the box

We cracked on and pulled the engine and box made a plan of attack with the owner

We ended up gojng

Pd130 engine
Jw gt1752
Hardpipe kit
Fmic
Full dmf kit with organic plate
Egr delete

Now Running sweet on a base map and to do our usual 500 miles nut and bolt check, fluid level check/leak check and then mapping in to take advantage of the new hardware with our PD parts 2.5 conversion downpipe and talks of straight through exhaust and our new induction kit to make it looking even smarter

Bit more fiddly due to the dpf but still turned around and sorted for the owner 👌

Another caddy conversion sorted

sdi to tdi this time

Being provided a full mk4 golf we had the basics of what was needed but not everything

the very reliable but very gutless sdi was removed and replaced with the pd130 engine

We modified the loom to be able to run by he important part…Boost!

All front end converted to accommodate the intercooler

All back on the road and now able to do more than 60mph! 🤣🙈

Another one done 💪

Originally a pd105 and swapped in a Fabia vrs engine

Looks so oem on the swap itself so keeps it clean and tidy without bodged pipework etc

Always fun these 😎

One we finished software on today

After being converted elsewhere this caddy had been swapped to a golf based Asz engine with a Mercedes 2060 unit

After a few hours the engine was running like it never had a conversion

Running around 250 bhp and 360 ft lb means this caddy has a bit more oomph then the stock setup and a perfect daily with nothing pushed 💪💪

Another bigger power one done!

One dirty boost buss in for a 130 conversion!

Customer supplied an engine and clutch and we got to work 😀

Engine in and running with a few tweaks, we went with a pd150 hardpipe kit, larger universal fmic mounted in front the radiator.

Everything mapped in correctly and running lovely and smooth

Nothing particularly pushed as it is a daily workhorse

Can go more power with a high lift cam and a bit more tweaking but for now, it’s nippy enough 💪

Nice Caddy in for some diag work

Caddy in for diag work

130 setup fitted and also Mapped elsewhere running on 3 cylinders and idle all over the place was mis diagnosed elsewhere as a cam fault - Cam was replaced by customer and issue still there

A simple check with vcds and an afr gauge shown was an injector fault

Good working second hand set and she’s running perfectly 😎

Mk5 in with a blown bxe

Customer supplied us with an Asz engine and a gearbox so we got to work!

Cleaning down the block and quick spray over with vht paint in the end to tidy it up.

We fitted a headgasket,headbolts, cambelt, valeo smf and mated it to the 6 speed gearbox.

As we do with every conversion we try and make it look as factory as possible where we can.

When fitting a golf based mk4 engine we had to use pd150 hardpipes for clearance issues.

All running and back on the road
