A little something for the weekend, another MX5 in a very fetching hue. Super gearboxes on these cars, reminds me of the bolt action on a Lee Enfield .303, very positive and crisp, nice piece of engineering by the Japanese! 😎👍

I have that Friday feeling today here at RPNW, despite it being a Wednesday. That is the ‘Alfa Effect’ for you! Alfa Brera 3.2 V6 - Very rare now, according to the lucky owner, there are only 130 registered in the UK now. I am haunted by Clarkson’s words, “You cannot consider yourself a true petrolhead until you have owned an Alfa.” I really must scratch my Alfa itch one of these days! Cooler than an iceberg these Alfa’s 😎👍

Food for thought! Mechanics highlight the abysmal engineering which is becoming increasingly common on modern motor vehicles. It makes sense to retain an older vehicle today rather than buy into the poor quality, penny pinching engineering that is prevalent today. Keep your older reliable, easier to repair vehicle and have it rustproofed! 👍

Op’s have resumed at RPNW after a well earned break in glorious North Yorkshire! It seems a previous customer was also over in Whitby last Friday. I returned to my XK8 to find one of my own business cards placed under one of the wipers! Some sharp eyed sniper recognised my car off the business card! The week commences with a Ford Mondeo 👍
