True words, please be patient with learners.

Last week I beeped my horn at a learner driver she stalled on a roundabout, the bloody idiot!!
Today, I went to the nursing home my mum is in, the same girl was feeding my mum, because of my mums dementia, she takes ages to eat, but she was so patient with her! I hope she didn’t recognise me!

Last week I beeped my horn at a Learner driver, he was trying to park in a bay and I was in a rush, bloody menace!
Today I had a puncture, I called into the local tyre repair garage, the same guy fixed my tyre, he told me he was learning to drive as it would help with his job when he finishes his apprenticeship. I hope he didn’t recognise me!

Last week I beeped and got really annoyed with a learner, he was taking ages to pull out of a junction, I gave him a right mouth full through the window.
Today I had an accident, I cut my hand badly in work, one of my colleagues took me to A&E, I was shown into a cubicle, the nurse was very professional, cleaning my hand and reassuing me, I recognised him straight away I hope he didn’t recognise me!

You have no idea when you may meet the Learners that p*e you off again, so think on!

Fancy looking at a day in the life of a driving instructor?

We get abuse for being in the correct lanes.

We get abuse for sticking to the sp*ed limits ( especially on the 20 Zones)

We get abuse for keeping junctions and crossings clear in a queue of traffic.

We get abuse for slowing down because it says so on the road.

We get abuse for pulling up outside your house.

We get abuse because the driver didn’t set off quick enough.

We get abuse for stalling.

We get abuse for not tailgating the car in front.

We even get abuse for not blocking junctions and not going into a box junction.

We get abuse when you kindly let a learner out but they don’t react as quick as you would like them too.

Please don't beep your horn, it really won't sp*ed us up. If anything they are thrown back by the honk of a horn, stall and take longer moving off.

Until we teach one of your family to drive then for a short time the abuse stops, but only for a short time.

We have all had to learn to drive, it’s funny how quickly we forget what it’s like.

We forget what it’s like to approach your first roundabout, the first parallel park, the first crossroads.

Please have a thought for us and our Students

It could be your son, daughter, niece, nephew.
We can’t use a classroom and trust me we don’t like holding you up anymore than you do!

Please be patient and we will be out of your way as soon as it is safe to do so .

For the ones that do show their patience we thank you , it never goes unnoticed.

An Aeroplane cleaner was cleaning the Pilot's cockpit, when he saw a book titled,
"HOW TO FLY AN AEROPLANE FOR BEGINNERS (Volume 1)

He opened the first (1st) page which said: "To start the engine, press the red button...". He did so, and the airplane engine started...

He was happy and opened the next page...:
"To get the airplane moving, press the blue button... "He did so, and the plane started moving at an amazing sp*ed...

He wanted to fly, so he opened the third (3rd) page which said: To let the airplane fly, please press the green button... "He did so and the plane started to fly...

He was excited...!!

After twenty (20) minutes of flying, he was satisfied, and wanted to land, so he decided to go to the fourth (4th) page... and page four (4) says; "To be able to know how to land a plane, please purchase Volume 2 at the nearest bookshop!"

*Moral of the story*

Never attempt anything without complete information

*Half Education is not only dangerous but can destructive!!!*
