It has been a long time since I posted any updates. Life gets in the way of best intentions, but progress has been made. The condition of the body was far worse than initially anticipated, and some parts have been impossible to source.

While browsing for parts, the picture in my mind of the finished project evolved. Initially it was whether to return it to stock, or to build an off-road orientated vehicle, but latterly I started to look at the Tomcat (Bowler). Having investigated this, and other similar products such as the Tornado, I decided I wanted a pickup.

There are many pictures and examples of home made pickup conversions, many look just that, homemade. I came across a company "Long Ranger 4x4, and after discussions with them, ordered the kit!

Decided to buy a 1990 Range Rover Classic 3.9 V8 as a project with the intention of restoring it over the next couple of months.
