If you live outside of Inverness I can still offer lessons but you would need to be able to come into town for lesson pick up and drop off. Very patient and nervous pupils a speciality.

Big congrats and very well done for today goes to Jen Gordon, Nairn, passing her auto driving test today, first time pass with only 4 driver faults.

Great drive Jen and the right result for you after all your good work on your lessons. I am really chuffed for you, especially when both of us came out to your test despite being unwell with this virus going the rounds.

I hope that everyone in the family was really pleased for you too.

I hope that you get out in your Golf soon so that you can start driving for yourself, on your own, and getting used to making all the decisions.
Just put into practice all that you have learned and you will be absolutely fine.

Paint the road markings back in on the retail park roundabout!!

Come on, the powers that be. Get the road markings painted back onto the roundabout.

I don't know where the paint comes from or who the supplier is, but it must be the cheapest paint that the authorities can price for, as it doesn't last five mins after it's redone before the paint starts to fade away again.

It's a three lane roundabout and being three lane it should have lane markings to keep everything flowing as it should and all in the right place on the roundabout.

Repaint and stop leaving it so long before it's needing redone again!!

Have a fumble around in the store room and see if you can kick over a few pots of paint that can be used get the markings back in place.

Not sure why it just wasn't done at the same time as the new paint was done at the Raigmore Interchange. All the equipment was there and it's only just along the road!!!

Raigmore Interchange Roundabout and marked lanes.

Just a reminder to please look at the road markings on the roundabout.

Coming from the A9 sliproad onto the Raigmore roundabout and turning right taking the third exit into the town, down past KFC or leaving to the Perth A9S sliproad.

As you come onto the roundabout the inside lane is clearly marked for Inverness, Perth A9S and as you come up to the traffic lights before you come to the Perth A9 South exit, the lane to the left of you is clearly marked Perth A9 south only.

On lessons, I have had several instances where a car to my left, in the lane marked for the Perth A9 South exit only has come around the left side of me, when the lights change to green, and carried on past the Perth exit to go into the town centre.

Please be aware that you can take the Perth A9 South slip road exit of the roundabout in both lanes and then you take the corresponding lane as you enter into the slip road joining the A9.

If you insist on carrying round past the exit to Perth A9S to go into the town centre you are severely running the risk that you will smash into the vehicle to your right that is leaving to take the Perth A9S exit joining the slip road.

If you are in the lane that is marked for Perth A9S only, you must leave the roundabout and take the slip road leading to the A9, not carry on following it round to go into Inverness.
You are cutting right past traffic to your right that is leaving for the A9S.

Please be aware of this as it's painted on the road, as it could cause a nasty crash there right on the exit to the Perth A9S slip road.

It's exactly the same coming from The A96 turning right to go to the A9N exit.

Please leave to the sliproads and don't cut right in front of vehicles that are leaving the roundabout heading towards the A9 N or S.

Traffic Lights At Culloden West.

For drivers' that think that it's smart to go straight ahead in the right hand lane to beat the traffic in the left lane at the traffic lights and then cut straight in front of my driving school car going straight ahead on a green arrow- Stop doing this!!

In case you may be driving with your eyes closed, the right hand lane is clearly marked right turn only and that right turn only lane has a separate traffic light and right turn only priority arrow at the traffic lights.

You are also going straight over the solid white line in the right hand lane and clearly driving straight through a red light!!

Surely you can clearly see this as you approach in that lane? It's not like it is not clearly marked with road markings, stop lines and a lane information board clearly visible on the approach!!

Do you have a problem with queueing and waiting to go with the flow of the traffic in the left lane?

Stop doing this, it's dangerous when you cut back over suddenly in front of my car and my pupil and is, quite frankly, p**s poor driving!!

Just obey the rules, it's really not that difficult, and keep both junctions safe for everyone, including yourself and your passengers that have to put up with your p**s poor driving.

Great drive Phatcha, great result and very well deserved after all your hard work on your lessons.

I hope that you manage to get out in your own car very soon, so that you can start getting experience driving on your own now.

Great result Morgen, well deserved and I was really chuffed with your pass.

I hope that you manage to do some driving before you head off for Uni.

Good luck with your second year in Uni, hope that all goes well too in the new flat.

Very big congratulations for yesterday, goes to Alex Czechseklecka, Cradlehall and Poland, passing her manual driving test with a great first time pass.

Great result Alex and just reward after all the great work that you put in on your lessons.
I am really chuffed for you now that you are a fully qualified driver.

I hope that you have been out and about in your car already, and that all has gone well with your first drive on your own.

Thank you for taking lessons with me, I really enjoyed our time together and we had some laughs along the way too.

I hope that you really enjoy your new found freedom and, remember, drive on the other side of the road when you head back home to Poland.
Remember to drive back on the left side when you come back home though. Only joking, you will manage just fine.

I hope that you get yourself a wee runaround car at some point so that you can get out and about on your own and get used to making all the decisions for yourself on a daily basis to gain even more experience after your hard work that you put in on your lessons.

Really big congratulations today, goes to Willow Forbes, Cradlehall, passing her manual driving test with only a couple minor faults.

Great result Willow, really pleased for you and all worth it after all your hard work on your lessons.

Big thanks too, to mum and dad, who took you out for home practice to give you even more on road experience on other different roads and areas as well as the routes around Inverness.

I hope that you get a chance to get out on your own before you head off to Uni in Sept.

Culloden Academy and Inverness Royal Academy. Speed limits.

The Highland Council have still not sorted out removing the tape covering the flashing 20 signs out side these two schools.

The speed limits have been raised to 30 mph as you go past the schools with the flashing 20 mph signs coming back into operation, but the tape covering the ' when lights flash' has still not been removed.

Schools go back after the holidays very soon and nothing has been done yet and don't suppose anything will be done!!

I still find it incredible the decision to raise the speed limits back up to 30 mph outside the school gates and not sort the flashing 20 signs at the same time as the speed limit gets raised.

I have, personally, contacted the Highland Council to ask why and was told that they tried to remove the tape covering the wording on the signs but the tape starting to remove the lettering on the signs and an alternative solution needs to be found.
That was weeks ago and nothing has been done to date.

I am willing to bet that nothing will have been sorted out by the time the school holidays are over and pupils are back to school.

Highland Council, you need to do better than this!! Stop dragging your feet and get it sorted out!! Surely it can't be that difficult?
