Someone just sent me this. Why do we need these all of a sudden? I suspect it is for the same reason we now have ram bollards all over Concert Square. What is happening to our society….

Operation Halo protects women in Liverpool’s night-time economy. There are nine Halo Points where anyone feeling unsafe can get immediate support, reassurance and help ❤️

They also act as a deterrent and provide a direct link to emergency services (999) and City Watch CCTV, enabling a rapid response from trained VAWG champions or police.

The nine Halo Points across Liverpool City Centre are:

📍 St. Peter’s Square
📍 Seel Street
