The covers are lifting again. This time, the HPX-DM assistance system comes into view, supplied as standard on both the Megamount 38 and Megamount 48.

Its pneumatically controlled dual rollers provide support when mounting and demounting large diameter, low profile, Run Flat and Ultra High Performance tyres.

For the tyres that put both technician and machine to the test, that assistance is built in from day one.

Another layer revealed. One final moment to come.

𝗩𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞.

The covers are lifting further. The turntables are now in view, and this is where the Megamount 48 starts to show what sets it apart.

Both machines offer clamping capacity up to 28 inches. The Megamount 38 delivers dependable 8 rpm operation, while the Megamount 48 introduces variable 0 to 16 rpm Motoinverter control.

Slow the rotation through tight or demanding sections, then increase the speed as the job allows. Greater control during mounting and demounting, particularly with low profile, Run Flat and Ultra High Performance tyres.

More control when the job demands it. More speed when it does not.

There’s still more beneath the covers. The next reveal brings another layer of support.

Two new 28 inch automatic tyre changers developed for professional workshops that demand more from their equipment.

The Megamount 38 delivers robust automatic performance with a familiar tilt back configuration. The Megamount 48 moves into a more advanced class, combining a space saving vertical sliding column with a variable 0 to 16 rpm Motoinverter turntable.

Two models. Two distinct workshop requirements. One major UK launch.

After conquering mountain passes, surviving questionable routes, clocking up countless miles and proving that a budget-priced Touareg is apparently far more resilient than anyone expected, it’s the final leg of the Bangers4Ben challenge.

The car has, surprisingly, behaved itself, despite a sea of dashboard warning lights that appeared to be participating in their own fundraising challenge.

But despite some unusual noises and minor incidents, it has not (yet) thrown a tantrum. That's more than can be said for some of our fellow Bangers4Ben competitors!

And we're on to day 4 of the Bangers4Ben challenge for the automotive charity Ben - Support for Life.

Today takes the team and the other participants through beautiful scenery of the Pyrenees and the mountain pass of Col d'Aspin at 1,489m.

From there the team start the descent to the foothills of the mountains and on to Lourdes, before moving on to Bordeaux, as they continue the journey back to blighty.

It's day 3 of the Bangers 4 Ben charity challenge.

With a trip to the iconic Le Mans Motor Museum under their belt, Tristain and Mark head deeper into France with the ISN Europe Dukes of Hazzard homage relatively intact and still running.

That's more than can be said for some fellow competitors (we have our fingers crossed that they'll get up and running soon).

Day 2 of Bangers4Ben and the ISN Europe team has made it safely to France, which, given almost every warning light on the dash is lit up, is quite the feat!

Today’s route takes Tristain and Mark to Le Mans first, before heading on to Bordeaux. We're not sure the French will know what's hit them!
