🚗💙 🚨 THCS CAR PARADE – HOLMFIRTH ROUTE & IMPORTANT DRIVER INFORMATION! 🚨 💙🚗 PUBLIC TOO.
📍 SATURDAY 24TH OCTOBER – Huddersfield & District Round Table HOLMFIRTH EXTRAVAGANZA! 🎉
Right everyone, here’s the route map and everything you need to know for our car parade through Holmfirth! 👇
We want to make this a fantastic spectacle for everyone attending the extravaganza, bringing the cars, the community and the atmosphere together! 🔥
We cannot wait for everyone to see the cars we have lined up! 😍😍🤯🤯🚗📸 thank you to everyone who are coming to join us! We are blown away at the response ❤️
Please take a few minutes to read the instructions below so we can keep everything running smoothly and safely.
📍 MEETING POINT & DEPARTURE
🏁 The Ford Inn, HD9 2LS
🕛 Meet between 12:00pm and 12:30pm
🚗 We leave at 1:15pm PROMPT!
Please arrive in plenty of time, get yourselves organised and be ready to go. We need everyone prepared so we can leave together as planned.
💚 GROUP A – ALL TOGETHER
Everyone starts together at The Ford Inn, coming down Greenfield Road into Holmfirth.
💛 WAVE 1 – YELLOW ROUTE
Follow the yellow route on the map and circle Sainsbury’s car park ONLY, following the clockwise direction shown.
Here’s the tricky part we are thinking because there isn’t much room in holmfirth, once the yellow route backs up. The next wave of cars to go down the orange route.
🧡 WAVE 2 – ORANGE ROUTE
Follow the orange route through Hollowgate, and back around. Once this has backed up hit the blue route.
💙 WAVE 3 – BLUE ROUTE
Follow the blue route through Holmfirth, travelling up Station Road before turning left onto Bridge Lane.
⚠️ Please take extra care on Bridge Lane, as it is a bit tight! Follow the arrows and drive considerately.
Then once everyone has hit a route, WAVE 4 = we are going for a bit of free for all. Everyone to keep doing these routes over and over where ever u can get along around the village and do 5 or 6 laps each/until we get bored. Keeping continuous THCS cars going round and round for a proper cool parade 😍🎉

🚫 IMPORTANT – DO NOT GO UP DUNFORD ROAD!
Dunford Road is clearly marked in red on the map. Please do not take this route. You won’t be able to get back down again in any good time.
🅿️ PARKING AFTER THE PARADE
Once the parade has finished, we have been blessed with an amazing gesture from Holme Valley Memorial Hopspital, who have said we can use their car park! 😍🙏

Not one bit of rubber is to be left anywhere at either car parks !!!!!!!!!! Or rubbish or etc. please fully respect these car parks as we have been blessed with the kindness we can use them.
The only THCS asbo behaviour allowed is if a kid waves and smiles at you, they are allowed a Rev like a trucker would beep their horn to them, to make them smile haha
Once parked up we will all meet up and enjoy the afternoons entertainment. Come say hi if you see us. Tell us your favorite car of the day.
We do have a competition and an award for this.
