Got a VW T4 coachbuilt.. wanting to take it and go do some walking to Buttermere, Scar Fell Pike area.. my question is has anyone taken motorhomes down the small lanes to these places and also found some nice safe over night parking?

So it’s finally Cheryl’s and my time to enjoy motorhoming …. We have done a mixture of free wild camping stopping on great cheap French aires and some proper campsites
We have took the ferry from newhaven to dieppe into France 🇫🇷 and taken in the beauty of Entretat ,Dinan, The stones of Carnac , Piriac sur mar , the Ile de re , La Rochelle, The amazing dunes of Pirat then into spain 🇪🇸 where we wild camped next to the Embalse de Yesa and the abandoned village of Esco and tonight we are on a fabulous campsite on the river Ebro at Caspe …. A couple of days more meandering and we will be home in Orxeta
