Discovery 4 XS commercial. Lovely example of the work we do here at c.w Land rovers. Customer requested replacement of front and rear timing belts including a full service , transfer box oil change and front and rear differential oil change. Customer had a concern about their vehicles performance-when accelerating excessive black smoke from coming from exhaust and loss of power. After a few checks on the vehicle found both plastic inlet manifolds had age related cracking causing lack of power from engine.a very common occurrence on 3.0l tdv6 engines. Replaced inlet manifolds, vehicle is now running at optimum performance again.
