🚨 RANT ALERT 🚨

I’d like to start this post by sincerely apologizing to any driver who attempted to shower at our facilities this evening and encountered the mess left by a thoughtless individual!

We take pride in ensuring our showers are cleaned thoroughly every morning and evening. However, it’s disheartening to discover that someone decided to shave and leave their hair clogging the drain, making it impossible for other drivers to use the showers.

To the driver responsible for this mess, if you happen to see this post, next time you decide to de hair yourself we kindly ask if you would remove the hair from the plug hole! Please respect our facilities and consider the comfort of your fellow drivers.

Let’s keep our space clean and respectful for everyone! Thank you. 🚛✨

Following on from previous:

Firstly I must express my heartfelt appreciation again to all of you that have shown your fantastic support to me and my team at Bardon Truck Park

This morning, I met with Cllr Keith Merrie in a productive face to face meeting which lasted for some time (over a couple of cups of tea at least). He now for certain understands our point of view regarding the closure of this site and the detrimental impact this has on our industry as a whole.

He is now working with us - so between my team, his team, and national bodies we are all currently liaising for a solution to the problem. And I hope to have some further good news as quick as possible.

Nevertheless, I hope to see you before the 6th March as it stands right now! So please do pop in to see us even if your just passing or coming in for secure parking.

On another important note. I’m aware that there were suggestions of blocking certain roads & carparks off during our last day of closure in protest or in frustration. And also as mentioned in previous comments, I’m aware that there has been a small number of people making various threats. Please can we keep things professional and refrain from doing so. However, constructive and positive feedback is certainly welcomed.
