Question for the day
Why should you check mirror before slowing?
I ask because many teach this without understanding the reason behind it .

I am currently getting lots of enquiries from PDI's who have failed 2 attempts at their PT3 or from qualified ADI's who have failed 2 Standards Checks.

I have a vast amount of knowledge and experience as both an ADI and as an ADI Examiner and can help you achieve your goals, but only if given enough time.

Please contact me if you feel your training is not helping you or if you feel you are not prepared for your test. However, please make contact sooner rather than later, I get calls from people who have their final attempt the following week and desperately need help. As I only work part time I very often cannot offer anything.

I produce my own literature that will help instructors with their training and this is available to those who take training with me.

I am able to offer advice on teaching techniques and carry out mock tests remotely if this is of use to anyone further afield who is not able to travel to me. This has proved very successful for several PDI's recently.

I qualified as an ADI in 1990 and ran a successful driving school for 13yrs.

In 2003 I joined the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency as a Driving Examiner. I later qualified to conduct ADI part 2 and 3 Driving Instructor qualifying examinations and the Standards Check.

After 19 years with the DVSA I have decided to partially retire to pursue my passion for coaching.

I will be offering:

ADI part 2 and 3 coaching sessions

Standards Check coaching

Lessons will be in an automatic car and spaces limited as I only work part-time.
