Coast & Country Parks Coast and Country Parks
Award Winning holiday parks in the South West 🌿
📍Cornwall, Devon, Somerset

Nestled in the wooded valley running along the Lynher River, Notter Bridge Holiday Park lies in a sheltered position amidst the natural untamed woodland, diverse blossoming gardens and coniferous canopies, with it’s own small fishing lake and natural wildlife trails, all making up this idyllic and tranquil holiday setting, forgiving the occasional honks from Mayo, our resident Grey Goose. The park

is perfectly situated just off the A38, joining the Devon expressway to Cornwall meaning you have the best of two Counties to discover right on your doorstep. In just 17 minutes you can find yourself on the sandy shore or Downderry, discovering the impressive grounds of Anthony Estate, or exploring the numerous coves negotiating the golden stretches of Whitsand Bay, the perfect base in nature. .........
Concealed high above the River Tamar with its wooded valleys and unspoilt estuary, Tamar View Holiday Park perches itself right at the heart of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Tamar Valley, already a World Heritage site due to it’s steep Mining Industrial past, was awarded its (AONB) status in 1996 because of it’s richness in beauty and history, possessing some of the finest examples of British Countryside, and because of its importance as a haven for wildlife such as Avocets, little Egrets, Kingfishers and River Otters. Dubbed the ‘Undiscovered Valley,’ due to its unimposing position in this otherwise crowded holiday destination, you would not quite believe this remarkable valley is situated just half an hour from the golden sands of Cornwall’s south coast beaches. If getting away from it all was your intention, this quiet countryside location offers an idyllic base, lacking in both amusements and entertainment venues, there is nothing to detract from taking in the surroundings whilst dining alfresco from your balcony, or taking in the clear night skies from the luxury of your own bubbling hot tub. The sweetest messages from the sweetest guests 🥹💕

Days like these remind us why we love what we do!

Last week, Eve and Erin stayed with us at Tamar View Holiday Park and left us the most beautiful surprise - heartfelt thank you letters and gorgeous drawings for our team✨

After one of the girls had a little tumble, our groundskeeper Stuart was quick to grab the first aid kit, clean up the wound and get her smiling again. To say thank you, the girls created wonderful pictures for Stuart, Sarah and Olga (and yes, we absolutely LOVE them! 🥰).

These thoughtful gestures mean more than you know. The kindness, creativity and appreciation shown in these letters truly made our day and will be treasured by all of us here at Tamar View, it's already on the wall!

Thank you, Eve and Erin, for your lovely words and beautiful artwork. We’re so happy you had such a wonderful holiday, and we can’t wait to welcome you back again someday. 💖

With love,

Stuart, Sarah, Olga & all the team at Tamar View Holiday Park ✨

Think Cornwall has to be expensive? Think again...

Here's our local's guide to 48 hours in South East Cornwall on a budget...

Lunch – Enjoy your picnic and relax a while on Lantic Bay beach, head in for a little swim if you fancy 🩱🏝️

Afternoon – Head back to your car and drive around the corner to the winding streets, harbour, and independent shops of Polperro, maybe head to the Blue Peter for a pint and portion of chips⚓️

Evening – Slowly meander back to your accommodation for an evening chilling.

Day 2
Morning – Walk from Calstock to Cotehele Estate along the scenic River Tamar

Late morning – Explore the estate’s woodland trails, historic quays, and mining heritage for free!
