Well Done to Ashleigh on passing your driving test today. You have stayed dedicated to the journey and put your heart and soul into learning to drive. I’m going to miss our therapy sessions.😂 The laughs we have shared have been so great.

🚧 EXMOUTH ROADWORKS… apparently the ultimate driving test 😂 🚧

I keep seeing posts about the new diversions, roadworks and “ridiculous” road layouts around Exmouth…

Meanwhile, my learners with about 15 HOURS of driving experience:
👀 See sign
🧠 Read sign
➡️ Follow sign
😌 Arrive at destination

No panic. No crisis. No Facebook post required. 😂

Sometimes I think the biggest problem isn’t the road layout… it’s that Exmouth has changed a road people have been driving the same way for the last 25 years. 👀😂

Yes, some of the diversions might look a bit strange. Yes, your usual route might be different.

But if someone with 15 hours behind the wheel can safely read the signs, adapt and work out where they’re going… I have faith in the rest of you. 😂👏

New road layout = look, read, plan, adapt.

Basically everything I’ve been teaching my learners all along. 😏🚗

Today was a treat day, Abbie did so well today on her lesson that we decided to stop and get an ice cream🍦. Enjoy a little bit of sunshine while admiring Abbie first ever attempt at parking ☀️☺️
