NOW AVAILABLE
1935 4½ Litre Petersen Blower Bentley Special

Having just undergone an extensive service along with a comprehensive programme of upgrades by our team, this exceptional motor car is perfectly prepared for a summer of motoring adventures.

Originally built by us in the mid-1990s as part of a limited run of five cars commissioned for Jack Barclay, it has since remained in single ownership for the past 25 years, covering just 7,000 miles.

For further information on this vehicle, or to discuss other opportunities, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Available to view by appointment only at our Devon-based showroom.

Is blue the new green? After finishing this Petersen Boat Tail Blower Bentley Special, we’re starting to think so.

A fantastic project to build, and one we’re very proud of. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did creating it.

A pleasure to return this Petersen Boat Tail Blower Special to its owner.

Over the winter, we carried out its annual service, completing all scheduled maintenance along with carefully sealing the underside and other critical areas — essential protection against the salt and road grime of the British winter.

Now fully prepared and ready to be enjoyed for the season ahead.

Is there anything cooler than cruising down the 5 in LA in his 27-litre Meteor-powered Special by Petersen?

Captured beautifully by , this recent clip brought us pure joy — seeing Jay enjoying the car we built nearly 15 years ago. This incredible machine famously appeared on and was once owned by Chris Evans before finding its way to Jay

A quick little walk around video of our Embiricos Bentley recreation we finished a couple years ago here at Petersen Engineering.

The Derby Bentley it's built on, known as the "silent sports car" makes a superb little rumble on tick over and you get a real scream from from the 4¼ litre engine as you press on. The great chassis with this cracking little engine mixed with the luxury and comfort makes for an unbeatable 1930's tourer in my opinion.

A nod to the original Embiricos Bentley and Georges Paulin's fantastic streamlined design work he created for Marcel Pourtout to bring to life.

Welcome to our latest commission — the Birkin Blower Recreation by Petersen Engineering.

We are proud to present our second 4½ Litre Birkin Blower Bentley recreation — a truly remarkable motor car. This two-seater homage to the legendary original incorporates some of our most advanced developments to date, including our own in-house–designed and built five-speed fully synchronised gearbox, a high-ratio rear axle, and discreet modern disc brakes concealed within the traditional drum covers.

Still breathing through its monstrous twin SU carburettors, this car delivers an unrivalled blend of performance, theatre, and adrenaline — a true driver’s car in every sense.

Now available for sale and ready for its next custodian.
Viewings are welcomed by appointment at our Devon showroom and workshops.

The Supercharged Petersen Dartmoor Coupé is entering its final stages of completion.
What you see here is a black undercoat — applied to reveal even the most subtle imperfections in the paintwork before the final finish.
Soon, this masterpiece will wear its true colours.
Which elegant combination would you choose?

Here’s a recent sale from our workshop. This car came to us as a part exchange, with the previous owner choosing to embark on a new project and enjoy being part of the build process as much as the drive itself.

This particular car has a remarkable history. Originally commissioned by Jack Barclays in the 1990s as one of five bespoke builds, it has travelled across the globe—spending much of its life in Japan—before returning to us for a full restoration just a few years ago.

It sold before we even had the chance to advertise, and it’s now in the hands of enthusiastic new owners. We’re excited to see how their plans for the car unfold in the future.

The Petersen Bentley Dartmoor Coupé.

First unveiled at the Goodwood Revival in 2009, this was the very first Dartmoor Coupé designed and built entirely by our founder, Bob Petersen, who set out to create the ultimate Art Deco, aero-styled car of the 1930s.

It remains the only Dartmoor Coupé in existence today — though two more are currently in production and will be unveiled in the coming months.

This example is now available through our friends at in London
