I have been a driving instructor since 1987 teaching anyone from complete novices to those that may want to improve there skills .I take pride in what I do and still get the pleasure now as I did back in 1987 when a pupil passes there test

Happy International Driving Instructor’s Day.

Can you believe the very first driving test passed in the UK was on this day in 1935. That was 89 years ago.

Driving instructors play a crucial role in teaching and guiding new drivers, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to become safe and responsible road users.

Helping people gain independence and an essential life skill is something I never take for granted.

Perhaps one of the biggest compliments anyone can pay their driving instructor is simple.
Follow the rules. Drive safely. Put what you were taught into practice every day.

If it has been a while since you passed your test, take a moment to refresh your knowledge of the Highway Code and the principles of safe driving.

Far too many preventable incidents still happen on our roads every year. In honour of Driving Instructor Day, and every day, let’s all take that extra moment to drive with care, patience and awareness.

I truly love playing a role in helping people achieve one of life’s most important skills, the ability to drive safely and confidently.

I am incredibly proud to be part of this profession and this industry.
